The Government Polytechnic, Nuapada is situated in the district of Nuapada of the State of Odisha. The institution spreads over a prime land of 9.12 acres which is around 3 km away from the Nuapada town bus stand and 7 km away from Nawapara Railway station. The institute is under the administrative control of Skill Development & Technical Education Department of Govt. of Odisha and is affiliated by AICTE, New Delhi and State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. This Co-Ed institute imparting 3 year Diploma courses on Civil, Electrical and Mechanical engineering came into existence on 30.04.2014 and started functioning temporarily in Govt. I.T.I., Khariar Road till its shift to its new campus on 09-04-2015.
